Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Altrio platform, you accept these Terms and Conditions. The platform is operated by Protocore in partnership with local public authorities.

2. Platform Use

Use the Platform for legal purposes only. It is prohibited to violate laws, transmit false information or interfere with platform operation.

3. Services Offered

The platform offers request submission, fiscal status, online payments, appointments, incident reporting, official documents, communication with authorities and electronic archive.

4. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided as is. We are not responsible for errors, interruptions or indirect damages. Total liability does not exceed 100 EUR.

5. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved by courts in Cluj-Napoca.

6. User Content

You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload to the Platform.

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for providing Services.

We reserve the right to review and remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Altrio Platform is the exclusive property of Metachain S.R.L. (Protocore).

'Altrio' and 'Protocore' are trademarks of Metachain S.R.L.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the Platform.

8. Payments, Fees and Taxes

Use of the Altrio Platform by citizens is generally free.

Taxes and fees paid to public authorities are governed by applicable tax legislation.

Payment processing is handled by authorized processors (Stripe, bank services).

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect your data.

We process data in accordance with GDPR and Romanian legislation.

You have rights regarding your data: access, rectification, deletion and portability.

10. Limitation of Liability and Warranty Disclaimer

The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed 100 RON or amounts paid in the last 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Protocore from claims resulting from:

Your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, User Content uploaded, false or misleading statements.

12. Termination and Suspension

You may close your account at any time from settings or by contacting contact@protocore.io

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, fraudulent use, abusive behavior, or legal requirements.

Upon termination, you lose access to your account and data.

13. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Romanian law.

Courts of Romania have exclusive jurisdiction.

We encourage amicable resolution through direct negotiation.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms to reflect changes in legislation, new features or business model changes.

Substantial changes will be notified via email and platform notification.

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. General Provisions

Entire agreement: These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement.

Severability: If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force.

Assignment: You cannot assign without our consent; Protocore may assign freely.

Force majeure: We are not liable for delays due to causes beyond our control.
